Original Vietnam War New Zealand Army Special Air Service SAS Beret Tan. Very nice original Vietnam War New Zealand/Australia Army Special Air Service tan beret. Excellent condition, despite some mothing to the felt. Note all of the images and the stitching, seams, and device backing. Note the image at the end of the group of New Zealand SAS troopers in Vietnam - they are wearing the tan beret, which wasn't officially introduced for some time.

The emblem on the patch is without the third red line on the sword, this is typical of the New Zealand badge, unlike the British, Australian, and Rhodesian of the same time.
