With three long letters from Reverend George W Lindsay, St Pauls Manse, Letters from Duncan & Macgregor, Solicitors of Dunedin, accounts by them, Supreme Court of Otago documents, Discharge by Revd. George Lindsay with declaration signed by William Armstrong McCaw, Architect of Invercargill, and Lindsay to William Primrose, Solicitor and Trustees in Dumfries Scotland.

Interesting Invercargill Local and Church history lot. The foundation stone was laid on the 3rd of March, 1876, by the Rev. Stobo, minister of the First Church. Invercargill, and was opened for public worship on the 10th of December in the same year by the Rev. GEORGE LINDSAY, Minister of St.

Paul's Presbyterian Church, was inducted into the pastoral charge in 1888, and under his ministry the church has continued to prosper. There is now a well-organised congregation of about 300 members, a fully equipped Sunday school, large Christian Endeavour Society, Band of Hope, Literary Society, and other societies all in a flourishing condition.
