Muir & Moodie's Pictorial New Zealand playing card deck, an excellent example of this very rare deck published by Muir & Moodie in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1912, there is a'Duty Paid' date stamp on the 2 of Diamonds dated'20 JAN 1912'. The courts and pip cards all feature wonderful black and white photographic images from around New Zealand the South Sea Islands, there is a special M&M Ace of Spades and the 3 remaining Aces are all standard. The indices on the pip cards are in triplicate with insets on two opposing corners and standard pips to the other two corners, the J, Q, K's have a clever triple split design with a central image.

The deck has 52 cards plus one Joker (only one issued with this deck) plus one information card. The cards are in excellent antique condition, clean with no visible damage i.
