1942 Dated BRODIE Steel HELMET with HESSIAN CAMOUFLAGE Cover RARE 100% Original

This listing is for a 100% original UN-TOUCHED genuine WW2 era dated Mark Two Brodie Steel Helmet. The helmet displays a 100% GENUINE WW2 era JUNGLE GREEN Camouflage HESSIAN COVER as worn in the Pacific Theater by New Zealand's Kiwi ANZAC troops fighting the Japanese in WW2. The HESSIAN COVER is extremely RARE to find today MOST were worn-out as the sharp edge of New Zealand made "raw edge" Mk 2 Brodie helmets rapidly degraded their issued Hessian covers. THIS Helmet is a UK made COVERED RIM helmet that has NOT overly-worn the rare Hessian cover. The "natural" colour of Hessian ("SACK MATERIAL") was light brown, those were usually issued with Broad Arrow stamp Maker's Code and DATE, but when those were DYED GREEN for Pacific Jungle Campaign use??

They LOST those details to the DYE. So these hessian covers are NEVER maker-marked or dated, although they would have been if worn in The Middle east as the "natural colour" Hessian covers were. The HELMET is missing its original chinstrap but otherwise is in VERY GOOD ORIGINAL condition, the anti reflective "sand" paint work entirely ORIGINAL to its WW2 era issue.

My reserve is FAIR given the originality CONDITION and RARITY. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO LIST ANOTHER of these VERY VERY SCARCE Steel Helmets any time soon.
