Antique Vintage New Zealand Maori Piu Piu Ceremonial Skirt Flax. Available is this antique or vintage Maori Piupiu skirt.

The piece is made of flax, and dyed in a design. Meant for ceremonial dances - it is hand made. This skirt is older, a bit dry and please note.. It is mostly stable, but could use some repairs. Note there is loss as well.

All the pieces in the pictured bag have come off and will be included. The skirt measures 24 inches wide plus an additional 28 & 21 inches of cord to use for tying on each end. It is 20 inches long. A wonderful piece of history - from an estate sale - no info on age or how it came to be in the PNW.
