1943 RNZAF Royal New Zealand Air Force Ensign. The ensign is light "Air Force" blue, with the Union Jack in the canton. The Royal Air Force roundel, concentric rings of red-white-blue, is sewn in the middle of the fly end, with the initials "NZ" in the red central roundel. All pieces are sewn together, not printed. The ensign is stamped with the size "3 X 5", the Air Ministry stamp with King's crown, "NZ" with the war department broad arrow, and "Auckland 1943".
