A bound Toki pendant with complex binding in hand carved in stunning New. Zeland flower jade or "Pounamu" by master carver Alex Sands. Includes an adjustable plaited waxed braid cord, a traditional woven presentation case and a detailed description of the meaning of the carvings. Hand made in New Zealand by an important master carver in the way of a millenary tradition, Size Jade. The Toki is the adz blade was bound onto a wooden handle and used to carve the great canoes and details on the meeting houses.
