This is a very rare copy of this book. The renowned Methodist minister and children's radio host of " Friendly Road " dedicated this copy of his well loved book, to his friend Ron Monroe and which he signed " Uncle Tom ". Also included is a handwritten letter from the Rev.

Garland to said companion thanking him for showing him around Sydney in September 1940. This is also signed T. T Garland and Uncle Tom underneath. Hopefully someone from NZ will want this historical piece to add to their collection to preserve this famous children's radio hosts legacy. The book is in lovely condition but doesn't have a dust jacket any more.

No major damage, just a bit of wear to the top of the spine, a dent on the cover and slight foxing to the title page from the bookshelf.
