Original WW2 British Army & Commonwealth New Zealand Made 1940 Pattern Greatcoat

Original WW2 British Army & Commonwealth New Zealand Made 1940 Pattern Greatcoat. Genuine period New Zealand made 1940 pattern wool greatcoat as worn by ordinary ranks British and Commonwealth forces who served during the Second World War. The 1940 pattern greatcoat differs to earlier pattern greatcoat as it was designed to be worn over 1937 pattern webbing battle order. The greatcoat is in good clean original condition however, there are some small moth holes (see pictures). This, however does not detract from the greatcoats overall appearance.

Made from all natural fibres and features a manufactures stamp N. /I\ D and dated Dec 1944, size stamp 8 5'-9'' - 5'-10'' and a label which reads. Height 5.9 to 5.10. Please look at my other items for more militaria and collectables.
