Vintage 1953 New Zealand Ensign Flag & Pole QEII Coronation Waving Flag 34 x 17

This original, vintage, New Zealand Ensign Flag is of woven fabric on a 110cm long flagpole with silver painted finial. Dating from 1953, it was almost certainly used to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The flag measures approximately 34 x 17 inch or 86x43cm. Both the flag and pole are in excellent condition given their age.

Vibrant colours, no fraying to the Fly end and just very small hole to the fabric. Originally, one of a set of 10 similar flags including those of St.

George, the Union Flag, Wales, Canada (the 1921-57 version), New Zealand, the Australian Red Ensign, the plain Blue Ensign and three Coronation Flags. This is one of several National, Marine, Wartime and other collectable flags, burgees, pennants and bunting that I'm listing.
