Vintage Maori Tiki Resin Feather Box By Parua Studios New Zealand With Label
Presenting a superb vintage resin Maori Tiki feather box produced by Parua Studios as a replica of a centuries old hand carved example. This delightful canoe-shaped lidded resin box features a finely detailed Tiki to the lid, appearing atop a textured surface which beautifully replicates the appearance of hand carved timber. Tiki heads form handles appearing to opposing ends of the body, with central Tiki heads and traditional Maori motifs adorning the long sides. The resin has been coloured to imitate the warm patina that would have developed upon timber. This piece has lovely fine detail and displays wonderfully.
