This exceptional carved solid wood Maori Totem depicts a strong and mighty Tiki figure captured standing upon the top portion of a stylised head. The Tiki figure is captured with a long protruding pointed tongue and is beautifully detailed with powerful Ta Moko designs. Inlaid paua shell discs form dazzling eyes detailing each face. This incredibly powerful and dynamic Maori carving has been exceptionally well executed with fabulous depth and fine attention to detail.
