For sale is a beautifully carved New Zealand Maori figurine with mesmerizing inlaid paua shell abalone eyes, a cleaver or hatchet and a lotta tongue. Carving measures 16-3/16 inches (41.12 cm) in height, the base measuring 3-5/8 by 2-5/8 inches (9.21 by 6.66 cm), being in excellent condition without any breaks or repairs, showing some minor wear to the base finish (Note; the bottom of the base shows some flaking to the original finish, probably from water "see photos").
