Vintage TEAL Airline Shoulder Bag c1950s-60s Air New Zealand Precursor

Size: 34cm wide x 24cm high. Original vintage TEAL (Tasman Empire Airways Limited) airline shoulder bag, dating to the 1950s-early 1960s, prior to TEAL's rebrand as Air New Zealand in 1965.

This classic jet-age travel bag features the bold TEAL logo, clean mid-century typography and original vinyl construction with contrast piping. TEAL was the pioneering trans-Tasman airline linking Australia and New Zealand and played a key role in the development of modern commercial aviation in the region. The bag presents in very good vintage condition, showing authentic age-related creasing and wear consistent with original use. Logo remains clear and strong. Genuine TEAL airline bag (pre-Air New Zealand).

Excellent display or collection piece. Increasingly hard to find outside museums and private collections. A highly collectible piece of early Air New Zealand and trans-Tasman aviation history.
