Condition - Used, Excellent Condition. Dimesnions: 11 x 2.5 x 2.25. Late 20th century wood carved Maori standing figure. Finely detailed wooden Maori Tiki statue with incised tattoo designs throughout his face, arms, legs and back.

Moko face, with incising throughout. Hand-carved with paua (abalone) shell eyes. Teko Teko is a representation of a Maori tribal ancestor. Often seen in and around traditional meeting places in houses, this figure represents guardianship and protection.
